HEALED TO BLESS

GOD HEALED ME TO BLESS YOU - Dated 17 February 2011

I find myself not being able to stay quiet anymore. For I believe that God has healed me so I can bless you, and you and you...

Some of y’all may know that I am HIV positive. Diagnosed in March 2001. It has been an amazing journey with lots of challenges but by God’s grace I can attribute none to my HIV status. One thing I do not have is a sad story to tell. I have heard people labelling themselves as HIV victims and survivors. But I am not a victim, I am not a survivor…I am an HIV conqueror…

When I was diagnosed in 2001 My CD4 count was 585 with a viral load of less than 40 copies/ml blood. Today, my CD4 count is 691 and my viral load is less than 40 copies/ml blood. This is with no treatment…this is through several suicide attempts, panic attacks, emotional stress, depression and (not proud of this) but not so healthy eating habits

So one may ask…HOW? And my answer is…not by my might, not by my power, not by my wisdom but it is all by the Spirit of the Lord. Another may ask, but what do you mean then by healed when the virus is still detected in your blood…My answer is that when we are injured physically, we acquire a physical wound. We feel the pain and that is how we know that we are injured. However, when the healing process starts. The pain goes away and the wound closes and becomes a scar. Which is a reminder that I was injured here…when we are broken emotionally. The wound is in our hearts and it is not visible. We cry, we become depressed and this is how it is shown that something is paining deep inside. But when we start the healing process. We feel at peace. We smile and we feel joy inside the same heart that carried the pain. The scar that is left is just the memory…but the pain is gone

And so it is so with me. I have been healed of the disease but the virus is the scar that it was here. No pain, no stress…just a memory

Praise the LORD, my soul;
All my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the LORD, my soul,
And forget not all his benefits
Who forgives all your sins
And heals all your diseases...
May you also know that there is victory in the blood of Jesus. There is power in the blood of Jesus. Power to save and power to heal. I am healed and I will not be quiet about it…Praise be to God my Healer

What He has done for me, He will do for you or your loved one…He is just one Call away John3:16
¹⁶For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (^[a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
