ASK FOR THE SUPERNATURAL... FROM THE SUPERNATURAL GOD - 26 April 2011


Romans 12:2 (Amplified Bible)
2. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

2 Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified Bible)
17. Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

Our God is a supernatural, divine, transcendent and superior God. Now, we being made new creatures in Christ, also makes us being with supernatural power and authority because the Spirit of God dwells in us.
God has given us divine promises in His word. And daily as His children we have the opportunity to ask for those promises in faith and receive them… He also says in His word

Mark 11:24 (Amplified Bible)
24. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].

What I’m getting at is that. Why is it as children of the Most High God continue to do things the worldly way. Even to the point of expecting God to deliver in a worldly manner. God does not do things like the world does. If that was the case then we wouldn’t need Him. Yes, He has given us a mind and wisdom to make choices. Identify what we desire and ask Him for it. We do not tell Him how, but we ask Him to grant us what we are desiring, believing that He will give it to us. Faith is what pleases Him. Faith that He will do what He said He will do, without any help from us. We ask for jobs, yet we look for internal connections, call in favours to make sure that we get the job. Where is the faith in God there. We ask for marital spouses, but we continue to flirt, buy affection of the people we wish to be partnered with. How is God to receive His glory when we ourselves take over and do what He is to do?

His ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts higher than ours. We can never in a million, trillion years comprehend how He will do a certain thing. And yet we continue to help Him deliver that which He had promised… The word of God says that we must not do things like the world does. We must not seek to have explainable testimonies. Because we serve a God who does impossible things. I for one want a supernaturally divine miracle, I want an unexplainable testimony… so I will dare believe God for that and will not accept anything that comes in any other way…
