All is well

Listening to Lynda Randall’s song “All is well" which continues to say... I must walk by faith not sight... When His presence I can't feel I'll still trust that God is real, All is well…

The statement made by this song is that "all is already well" not it will be well. When we go through trials and find ourselves singing such songs. Possibly meditating on them because they give us hope that things will work out we do so in an asking way. Not in a much believing and having received way. When we pray, believing that we have received what we pray for, the bible says that we already have what we have prayed for. (Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.)

Only by faith can all be well. Only when you know that the temporary trial is not well but what God has promised is. The Bible says that we have the power to call forth things that are not and they will be. But the thing is this, are you even making preparations for what you ate calling forth. I mean, you who is asking for a baby after Doctors have told you that there is no way you can have any. Have you even bought one maternity dress? Have you even bought one pair of booties or two if you desire twins? Or are you scared of giving yourself "false hope". Or scared of what people will say? And you, who is praying and trusting God for the salvation of your loved one? Are you speaking the language of salvation over their lives? Do you see them saved even though they were out all night last night drinking and sinning their lives away? Do you see your pregnant unmarried daughter raising a God fearing child because she's become a God fearing saved woman? And you, who is praying for a house, are you collecting items for your new home? Do you know how many beds you will need? Do you know what colour appliances in your kitchen? Are you even window shopping? And what about you, who is praying for a car? Do you even have a licence? A learner’s at least? Are you learning to drive? Have you checked which routes you're going use when going to work, to church and everywhere else you normally go. Have you thought of new places you will go and the new activities you will now be able to do?

Hebrews 11:1 says “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."

So, we need to see what we are hoping for. See it now before it manifests in the natural. And because we see it, it is easy to prepare it, decorate it and even use it. It is by faith and nothing else. All becomes well because it is. Let us not accepts the problems we find ourselves going through as our destinies. Let us not accept that we are meant to be poor, to be barren and to be in pain. God says in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." So prosperity in every area of our lives is our portion, safety and hope is our portion.

So next time you sing the song "it is well with my soul". Sing it with a heart full of praise. Knowing deep in your Spirit that verily verily... All IS well!!!! And nothing else.
